Application Process JBS is an International Baccalaureate World School. It is fully authorised to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP); the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP); the Diploma Programme (DP); and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) for students from Pre-KG to Grade 12. Applying to JBS is a simple three-step process. Step One Complete our Online Application Form. Please note that all applications are digital. Once we receive your application, you will be sent a confirmation email. Step Two The confirmation email will provide a list of required documents as well as the bank details to pay the application fee of AED 525. You will need this in order to make an appointment for your childās assessment. All students applying to JBS are required to be assessed, regardless of age, grade, school or country they are from. Please be prepared to submit the following documents prior to attending your assessment appointment: Childās passport, residence visa and Emirates ID. Parentsā passports, residence visas and Emirates ID. Recent medical copy of childās/childrenās vaccination card. Most recent school report. Diagnostic testing or educational assessment (if applicable) Any psychological assessments (if applicable). Please scan the required documents and email them in advance to [email protected], Step Three We will contact you with a date and time for your childās assessment, which will be administered by the Admissions Office and the JBS faculty. After the assessment and upon receiving an acceptance letter, a deposit fee is required to reserve your seat. A seat cannot be held until the deposit payment is received. We will advise the amount in the acceptance letter. Acceptance to Jumeira Baccalaureate School is dependent upon the results of the placement assessment, student interview (if needed) and former school reports.
