The Ignite School community welcomes male and female students of any race, religion, color, nationality or ethnic background. Every Ignite School learner will feel welcome, happy, accepted, safe and valued. ​Ignite School is fully equipped for children from KG-1 to Grade 12 arranged in 4 divisions. However, we currently have from KG-1 to Grade 7 and we are opening a class each year. Elementary School – Early Learning Center: KG-1 and KG-2 Elementary School: Grades 1 to 5 Middle School: Grades 6 to 8 High School: Grades 9 to 12 (Freshman, Sophomore Junior and Senior) ​Emirati students meeting the admissions requirements will be afforded a priority pathway to joining the Ignite School community. Ignite School shall offer an excellent quality of education to Emirati students within a whole school approach. Central to the approach is a culturally appropriate and relevant learning environment. ​We encourage you to browse through our website to gain an understanding of our academic and school life (well-being) programs, extra-curricular activities, campus and vision. Absher Initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with an aim to enhance the participation of Emiratis in the labour market and encourage Emiratis to work in the private sector with new initiatives. This incentive and reward program is provided for UAE nationals working in the private sector and registered with MOHRE. Admission Process Ignite School is still accepting accepting KG-1 to Grade 7 applications for Term 1 as well as mid-year joiners in Term 2 (6th Dec) and Term 3 (11th Apr). Admission for next academic year will commence from 1st November. Ignite School shall be opening Grade 8. Inquiries regarding school admissions can be made via the above Admission Inquiry Form. KG-1, KG-2 and Grade 1 admission Children are assessed and observed in groups of at least three students. Five main criteria are considered for successful entrance. Children must be age appropriate for their grade; be able to separate from their caregiver and demonstrate a readiness to participate in the classroom; be bathroom independent; be able to engage in an activity following verbal or non-verbal direction; and be able to demonstrate fine and gross motor skill development at age appropriate level. Grade 2 to 12 admissions Applications for Grade 2 to 12 are to include a transcript (school report) for the most recent completed grade. Students should have a passing level of achievement. Students and parents will be invited to discuss their application with the Director and Admissions Officer.
